I've got the file sharing enabled on my home PC. I am able to access all of the files on it from my Motorola Atrix on 2.3.4 using the file sharing utility.

However.. I am not able to access any of them from any of my Windows 7 Laptop's. I've got the same settings enabled on the laptops as I do the PC but when I enter the computer's local address It doesn't let me connect. It doesn't show the computer under "Network" in Windows 7 and I can't seem to connect to it in any way.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? I absolutely need the freedom to copy / transfer files over my network from my pc to the laptops.

I have in the past had it working but for some reason can't get it working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You tried just typing the computers local IP into the directory bar?

Yep, that's usually how I would connect. Nothing connects when I try.

I can ping the computers from eachother in cmd though.

Make sure that network discovery is enabled on the laptops as well as the desktop?
Already done, settings on the machines are the same.
