[Windows 7 Forums] How to unlock all versions of windows 7 in your 7000 build ISO

1. Make a copy of your .iso for safe keeping..
2. Open the .iso in ultraISO
3. Browse to the "sources" folder
4. Remove the file "ei.cfg"
5. Save the .iso
6. Burn at 2x
7. Enjoy

Now when you install you will get a choice of home basic, home premium, business, or ultimate
images at source

but why, when you can have Ultimate anyway which has everything?
to see if you actually need ultimate. some users might want to sample home premium, and if they find it useful to their needs they can budget to get it when the full thing comes out, and save some $$$

Also, Home Premium is not as large of an install as Ultimate, and takes up less space.

I like Laptops to run HP Vista, but desktops need Ultimate, unless they are for a friend who isn't tech savy, or doesn't need all the ultimate features.

need ultimate :S

i allways thought it was just a gimick and it just gave u a few extra backgrounds, themes and vid background, or is there more, doesit run better or something?

they didn't fix that slmgr-rearm command again??? i can see this being exploited for a long time...

Umm Didnt Microsoft say that Ultimate for win 7 wont be need by most average computer users? And there are a lot of features none of us will ever use.
