Guys ive been struggling with the the past 2 days. Msi gaming 7, 7700k, samsung 960 pro.

Windows 7 on usb with either rufus or the windows usb tool and i get the error to load drivers right after you press install.

So I used the msi smart usb tool to add drivers and now I can get past this screen but when it comes to the usual screen of selecting the hard drive it does not show up. In the bios Ive set the disk to sata (only other option is raid) and ive enable windows 7 installation too.

What do I need to do?

You need to set the boot device in the BIOS. If there's no boot device listed windows can't see it. (ie. can't see any drives)

I'll give that ago and see how I get on.

From what ive been reading W7 doesnt support nvme drivers natively, but ive been using the program to add the drivers but it still doesnt show up.
