I run several programs when i boot, but the more important ones seem to boot after the others.

For example, i run Steam, Fraps, Avast, CCC and Aida64Extreme. I want Aida64, necessary OS software and CCC to boot first and the other programs to boot later on. I find that when i boot my system it isn't usable for quite a long time, yet Steam and my gadgets still start.

Tl;dr: Is there a utility that allows me to select which programs startup first?

In Services, set the ones you want to run on Boot as "Automatic" and the others to "Automatic (Delayed Start)"

Automatic (Delayed Start) will run after Boot, but not on Boot, saving Bootup time.

Only Windows 7 has this as an option.

So yes, OP, check to see if the services are on delay, and fix accordingly.
