I decided to take the plunge and move on from Windows 7 to Windows 8 on my main PC this afternoon (system specs in sig). Note I did a clean install, not an upgrade.

All was going well until I tried to install the IRST drivers where it told me "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements......" which is odd as under Windows 7 IRST installed fine and I used it for well over a year.

I've made no BIOS changes at all and no component changes.

Any ideas?

I downloaded IATA_ENU.exe from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&ProdId=3409&DwnldID=22036&keyword=IRST&lang=eng

That is the right file I assume?

I don't know if you're motherboard has it, but you might want to try turning on/off secure boot. The opposite of whichever one it's on now.
