So I have 2 drives in this rig, an 80GB with 7 on it and my 1TB for everything else.

The 80gig is kicking the bucket (Shows damamged cable in HD tune) and is taking longer to load windows, and overall getting slower.

Could I make a system image and restore it to my 1TB Drive without getting rid of the data on it? If I can't I'll just use it as an excuse to buy an SSD.

Wait, have you already tried replacing the cable?

You can repartition your 1TB to make a dedicated boot partition for the contents of the 80GB, but if it is damaged, the data on it probably is as well, so you'll end up with the same problems even though the other drive is good.

You need to do a fresh install.
