As a first thing it's a good tool for quick polling rate assessment.
It's also very useful to see at what cpi you can consistently produce single count movements.

The micro delay thing is just a curiosity. Windows cursor method has bigger problems.
Older games don't have raw input and some quake games can actually use directinput.

Was there a way to resolve this issue at all, on Windows 10 and mouse feels terrible, even in safe mode.
