I'm sure you get these a lot, but I'm stumped. I just got a new MOBO, CPU, and GFX card. The MOBO is an ASRock 939Dual-VSTA, and the hard drive is a Hitachi SATA150. I had this hard drive working just fine with my old motherboard, and this MOBO has reccognized my IDE one, that's what I'm using right now. I tried this boot disc that came with the hard drive, but all it does is format it, and it did nothing. I also tried both my SATA150 port things. The BIOS reccognizes it and everything, but just Windows doesn't. Anyone have an answer for me?

I'm using only an IDE right now, which is... ok, but I need this SATA, cause I only have 10 gigs left on this IDE, and I haven't even installed games yet.

I had already checked that, and it doesn't show up, and it doesn't show up on the Devices list either.

The only hard drive related drivers on here are from Microsoft, the problem is, Windows isn't seeing this hard drive at all. Even when I was trying to install Windows, it couldn't find that hard drive.

Anyone else have any other ideas? I'd really like to get this working so I can try a game on this new graphics card of mine.

Got it working, not sure what did it though. I tried several different things, then tried the Windows install disc, and it reccognized it, so all is good.
