ok, i've been seeing this at car shows for some time now and was just wondering what all i needed to do this....also, how would you set up a touch-screen display with the rest of the computer? are there power supplies that run off 9v or would you have to get an inverter?

Can't you just hook up a regular comp with a power inverter and a 7" touch screen?

One of those 12v to 120 volt inverters, and then the psu into the inverter..

350 watt psu, micro atx mobo with onboard graphics, ditto with sound. Wire up the Headphone output to a Aux in on ur car stereo..

that's basically it. except, there are things you can use to auto-power the computer on when your ignition comes on and auto shut down when your ignition goes off.
