Using a 5850 with sig rig clocks below on Catalyst 11.4

Never had a problem until I enabled the Windows Wall Paper Slide Show feature. Now the driver randomly has to reboot itself or I get a grey screen of death, green screen of death, blue screen (solid blue color, no text).

I don't understand how changing a wallpaper could cause my drivers to crash and fail. Any ideas?

And yes, obviously I can turn it off, but I <3 my wallpapers.

It sounds like an IRQ issue. If that's the case, try uninstalling, then reinstalling the slide show, if possible, manually alter the IRQ itself so that it is using an address that is unoccupied at all times. Hope this helps
