I'm going to have a new conroe computer fairly soon to go along with my AMD computer. With that being said I currently run the Home edition of windows. I know I can just install that one onto my new computer and call them to get it verified but my question is I've heard people say they recomend the Professional edition..
Whats the main difference? Should I really shell out the extra cash for professional? All I will use my PC for is audio recording, gaming and internet browsing.

So would that make it easier to set up a network? The thing is I am going to have 3 possibly 4 computers that I will need to set up a wireless netword and lan with. I'll have two and my two roomates should have their computers up and running soon.

Im using xp pro right now, but I dont really see a BIG difference from xp home, just some more networking options, I'd just stick with home since you already have it
