I just sold a PC and I need a program to completely wipe one of the HD's. I would like to do it from windows, it is just a secondary drive. Does anyone know of a good free one I can get? I would like to start this ASAP, so I can go to bed and have it done in the morning(not sure hoe long it takes).

Thanks

Just right click on the drive and press format.

Alternatively, you could try something called Clean Disk Security. It has several levels of cleaning (1 pass with a simple write pattern, up to a Guttman 35 pass write with random characters). I would suggest formatting the drive, then running Clean Disk Security on it at the NIS mode (which is 7 passes of randomized characters). It will take some time, but it's the most secure deletion method I have used. The only problem is, I don't know if it's still free or not.
