I've got an actiontech router from verizon, that came default with wep encryption. I quickly changed it to wpa2-psk and everything but my desktop rig seemed to like it. Its spooty, I'll usually be fine for a while, then pages don't load, and after running the troubleshooter, windows tells me the same thing, that the connection between the router or modem or something is broken, and that the default gateway is not available (it fixes the gateway problem). Everything else on my network (nexus 7, ps3, other computer) works fine. Any ideas? Its kind of an old card, a trendnet tew-643pi

Yep, desktop is wireless. Ill try changing to wpa, any idea why it would do this? It does work properly up until it cuts out.
Also, any recommendations for a replacement?
