I would love to set up wireless storage. It would make sharing music and files between my computers so much easier. I have three computer. 1 of which is a latop and i have a rough time with the files.. i have some here, some there, all scatterd. I was interested in the Dlink wireless storage thing. you put your own hard drive in it. Anyone used one? any downsides, im not too concerned with speeds, i know thats sacrifised with wireless. Is there anything different or better?

I've never, ever had good luck with DLink. On top of that, although you say that you don't mind the slower speeds, I think eventually they will get on your nerves. Think about it, not only do you have the wireless speeds to worry about, but also the odd setup the DLink probably has going on. <br />

I would say buy a cheap Micro-ATX rig, slap linux on it, and you have yourself a very nice file server (that can be wireless) and it is expandable to multiple harddrives and multiple applications.
