configure your network again

make sure the network names are the same

thats 54 Mbs, and that blows for gaming,
plus MSI is ehh ok

108Mbs name brand(like linksys or D-link)
are ~$50 and thats what i use exclusivey

The wireless world does not revolve around Linksys (or other big-name brands). There are cheaper and just as reliable brands out there. If you want the 100Mbps+ ratings make your network brand exclusive (all Netgear, all Belkin, etc); most brands offer SuperG devices at decent prices.

i know about the brand exclusive thing
thats why i dont buy off brand ones

plus i buy them at retail stores, cuz most people need them right away,
or buy them as an afterthought and dont wanna wait

sorted.
after going through all the troubleshooting, i decided the card was faulty.
I called the supplier ( i bought on e-bay) and they asked me to RMA the card.
I didnt have to pay any P&P, and a week later (today) a new card arrived.
it is now up and running, in an upstairs bedroom. the router is in the room below.
we have faultless connectivity, very strong signal.
pre-n whoops the ass off wireless G.
i van highly recommend Belkin wireles pre-n network to all
