Meh... Couldn't be any worse than before hey were bought. Square Enix taking a steaming dump over their surviving titles and the rest abandoned in a burning wrecked heap...

At least F2P games need to have enough effort put into them to warrant people wanting to pay money on them after they've actually tried them.

Its a shame the Kickstarter failed. It would have been neat to see what they could have done without a publisher screwing them up. This is the dude who designed Total Annihilation after all.

Yeah bit of a shame. Supreme Commander could have been a great game without the AI bug and memory leak.

"F2P" is a plague. Take any game, apply F2P, and you have a worse game.

Well, if what they are thinking to do to my beloved Cougar is true, I will dump all German tanks. What do they have against Germans? It is already the hardest light tank to win with, and it needs to be heavier, slower, less armor and t7 (+1) AHHHH!

Why are people so against free to play? Path of Exile is F2P and that's a wonderful game.

I think it's mainly due to so many bad F2P games that come out and are essentially P2W. But some of these F2P now a days imo break that mold.

WG has created an addict out of me. And there is not a damn thing you can get for real money that will truly influence a battle. you can't just drop $50 and go in whooping azz.

And if F2P is so bad then why has Star wars, Star Trek and countless others followed suit?

Soon most will be F2P, Crytek is heading there so are countless others.

The market is a changing.
