I have read good and bad reviews about this one. Still I think its a good mobo for overclocking. I use a P5P800 (the next rev). Very good mobo for OCing.

refurbished = crap. but you might get lucky who knows. personally i wouldn't go refurbished just get a new one. if you can't afford to get a new one then wait till you save up some more cash... or sell something.

Yes P5P800 is for S775 while the P4P800SE is for S478.
So far I have read some reviews about ppl running at 290 fsb at 1:1 with PC4400 ram on a P4P800Se

isn't refurbished the one that someone bought then returned? then would it not have gone through factory checking or something?

refurbished is one that someone returned cuz it was broken. so they "refurbish it" (fix it) back to factory specs. it's pretty much the equivalent to buying a salvaged car... it was in a bad wreck but they put it back together. not the kinda thing i'd waste money on.
