xfire= crossfire . im not talking about the actual xfire....Anyways newegg has this 1600 <a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814241033" target="_blank">http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814241033</a><br />
going for $98 after the MIR... Would 2 of these in crossfire pwn a single 7900gt? <br />

That would be like $180-$200 VS $250 only a $50 difference but which would be better?

Im just looking for something that I can play games like cod2, Fear, BF1242 and many other fps games that on high settings without any lag or dropping fps i want to spend just Enough to get what I am saying here

Ok if you want to game at high resolutions go fro SLI or crossfire, and i mean high.<br />
<br />
7900 would probably be better for a single card, however i dont think the X1600 would stuggle in any game around atm.

Your better off with a pair of these. They are OC'd to XT speeds and are GDDR3, I use two of these cards and there isnt a game I cant play at max.<br />
