Yes i do relize its only 128-bit still. I would mainly go for it just for a upgrade to my x800, and to get sm3, more than likely fold with it to. Im interested just becuase its cheap. would the x1900GT be any better ? its only 10$ more or even the 1800gto? Im trying to keep them between 100-160 since this year im actualy upgrading the whole system and right now im sitting at 550 total with the one i built.

If you want to get SM3 then go with a 7600GT much better card in this price bracket. Plus they are monster overclockers, something from XFX, eVGA, and BFG would be the ticket.

i saw the 1650xt, and the supposid 24 pixel pipelines are acctually just shaders for 8 pixel pipelines. i have a x1650pro and i love everything but the 128 bit mem. i would reccomend the 7600 or go for a pimp with a 7950gt. around $240 on the egg, maybe a lil more.

they both overclock like beasts, but the 7600 is the better deal.
7950 has 512mb ram 240bit? (i guess) and 24 pixel pipelines and oc like a champ

Just saw this card. I'm killing myself at the moment. May the AMD Gods have mercy on my soul.
The x1650xt is not that bad, but a 7600GT beats it.

Pretty good card but your better off with the x1950Pro which can range from $50 to $75 more but is a MUCH better card it has beaten a 7950GT in a few benchies.

Well, the OP did specify that he wanted to keep a budget of $100-160. I should kill myself for not waiting a few weeks; sorry ATI for betraying you

X1900GT is not a great card unless you get a $150 one like what Melcar posted. do NOT expect 1900XT performance out of this card though. it's just inexpensive, so it's worth it if you're on a budget.

The GT is definitely no XT, but at that price range there is nothing better.
