The x1900-AIW card seems to have 16 pipelines unlike most of the 1900 cards. My x800-aiw overclocks like a dream... anyone know about this?

The AIW versions are nice but not for overclocking. they use cheaper ram for lower clocks, and the AIW chip interferes with the overclock

My X1900's also have 16 pipes.
It's a decent card as far I know. powerful. I think like the 'normal' X1900 (not XT, not XTX).
You'll definately notice the difference. Not sure how well it overclocks.

X1900 AIW is a great card, the clocks may be lower but we're talking easy overclocking, with easy voltage boosts.

Its got a full R580 core with 16 pipes and 48 shader processors with all the AIW functionality and a decent single slot cooler, they've also been selling for really cheap in some places.
