Hey Waxy, how do you think THIS would mix with the volt mod?

I'm thinking this might work REEEEEEEEAL well.

Lol well X1900 series are known to be "cold bugged" plus youll have to do condensation proffing, not worth it IMO

Ouch! Good to know in advance. I guess I'll just get either one of the Swiftech blocks for it, or maybe another DD Tyee, like I used on my X1900XTX. I'm assuming it should fit the GT as well? I'm obviously not going to need the bridge to cool the regulators on this card, though In your opinion, do you think it's worth the extra $$$ to get the full coverage block to cool the memory at the same time, or should I just save the extra $$$ & get a straight GPU block & some ramsinks?

block and ramsinks. Full coverage blocks are horrible for flow. ANd this card doesnt have regulators so dont worry about them

couple of questions:

What is "penciling" a resistor?
I would guess at: scribbling on it with a pencil... but that does not seem very permanant.

secondly... what kind of cooling (Links please?) should be used with this modification past the 1.3 mark?
