Hey, I'm having trouble with getting my LCD monitor to work properly with my Sapphire x1950 GT AGP card.
The card has 2 DVI-I exits.
Everything works fine when using a DVI-I to VGA adapter and a VGA cable to connect it to the monitors VGA input (it has both DVI-D and VGA)

The problem is that when I try using a DVI-D cable to connect the two, I get no signal to the monitor. CCC doesn't detect that anything, even when I set the monitor to DVI input mode.

The connection schemes looks like this.
Working:

[Card DVI-I out]

[DVI-I to VGA adapter]

[VGA cable]

[Monitor VGA in]

Not working:

From what I know, DVI-D cables should work just fine with DVI-I exits, so I don't know what's wrong...

Might it be a software/driver problem?

EDIT
Fixed it... turns out I needed a single-link cable instead of a dual-link, even though dual is supposed to work with both.
