Hello,

I recently purchased a x99 Godlike Carbon and Im currently using the ax1200i to power it.

Most mothers boards use the standard pcie (6+2) to power the cpu but the godlike carbon has a 8+4 socket.

My question is, What should i use to power the cpu socket? and does anyone currently have any problems installing the godlike carbon into your case? I found that the armour near the pcie slot was too high and I am currently having troubles installing my Gpu.

thanks in advance!

The standard CPU power plug is an 8-pin header, and an extra 4 pin header is probably there for extra power. There might also be a 4-pin, 6-pin, or 8-pin for extra PCI-E power.

Only plug into the board what actually fits into the sockets, don't force anything in if the shape is different.
