Is there anything cool I should look forward to later in the game? So far it is pretty awesome.

So far this game is awesome. For something of this age, it is amazing at how it draws you in. Characters all have so much life, gameplay is fun. The only thing that annoys me is the random battles sometimes, but that is Final Fantasy for you.
