Well, there is the possibilty of the "FF" instant boot error with these boards.

I had the same issue for a while, and my fix was this. Make SURE that your 8 pin connecter is in. Your PSU should have two four pins which can connect to each other, and right by the CPU area, and behind the PS2 slots. I didn't have it plugged in and I got FF. If that's plugged in, let me know, I have more solutions/ideas.

Good luck!
try pressing down on the bios chip, if that doesn't work and you know everyhting is connected right, its time for an RMA.
Also, if you you could take a picture of what your board looks like right now (with everything plugged in), please take one, and upload it.
I presum you've been trying to overclock?

Try resetting the Bios using the the buttons on the motherboard, the one on the left is RESET the right on is POWER. (they are a down and left of the FF readout)

Turn on your system and press down the reset wich will reset the bios then reboot

got 8 plugged in...

also have reset bios..removed battery etc, havn't tried pushing the bios chip in?..will give that a go...cannot take pic, removed board inorder to put the board im using at the moment back in!(pain). but i unplugged all hardware 1 by 1 to see if any of that was causing it, which didn't nake a difference, also i thought i'd get a diff code if another bit of hardware was the cause, im thinking its the board?

Are you using DDR3 RAM in it? 780i supports DDR2
well tried all possible fix's that I have found (obviously quite a big problem!) nothing has helped??
I would recommend trying to boot with only 1 memory stick. If you tried everything else and booting with a single module didn't work, I would RMA the board.
