Well, i'm setting up my new Rig soon, and just trawled theslum that is Ebay, and found a diamond - a GTX280 (Factory OC) for £165.50 (Buy it now) - this is a good deal, yes? cheapest i can find another GTX 280 is £180. if it is, i'm pressing that BIN button.

I might also be open to suggestions in the ATI selection, anything that's close performance wise.

And a thanks in advance.

Bollocks, i wake up and someone's BINned it!
Thats a good deal however you can get a brand new ATI 4890 which is slightly faster for less.

I know how fast they are because I have had 4 GTX280's in the past as well so im not guesing.

^Truth

However, don't buy an XFX 4890. Get the Asus or Sapphire, alot of problems with certain XFX 4890's, I've heard alot of people whining about cooling problems, as well as crashing and the like.

A friend of mine found that the fan wasn't even plugged in on his one.
