I was wondering if the core clock and memory clock being higher on the xfx ones will make the much of a difference?

Are these 2 the same cards? If the architecture is different (I'm asking because you say different amt of SP) then you can't compare by clock speed and amount of stream processors.
oh jeez, sorry about that. No, both 5850s. the XFX one is 50 dollars more.
Is the xfx factory overclocked? Either way both cards should have the same base clocks. You can overclock the card yourself and have it the same speed or even higher.
It's not worth $50 more if they are the same card, and how can it have more stream processors? You can easily overclock over the factory overclocked settings of the xfx with the sapphire and save $50. Asus also makes great cards, but there isn't that big of a difference with reference cards other than the warranty support offered by the company.
was just wondering doodddds
.....thanks grunion, is asus a good ati brand boys?

Not a bad brand at all... Prefer XFX for the warranty...but Asus' 3 year warranty isnt bad either...
3 years is enough for me haha. who has a gpu for more than 2 years? lets be serious!
Wait sapphire doesn't have a warranty on there cards? I thought they offered a 2 year limited warranty? or hell atleast a 1 year warrant I don't want my card going dead 31 days later after paying 300$
haha is that true? how come you say that, I'm curious!

oh jeez I'm over a 100 post, and only have 1 rep, what am I doing wrong?!?

Sapphire DOES have a 2 year, where did you get the idea it doesn't? It's brands like GeCube and other really low brands that have crap warranty support.

XFX diouble lifetime warranty, sure makes it easier to sell later on. As far as not keeping a GPU for more than 2 years, Lot's of 8800's still floating around out there.
haha what a cheap shot
I havent had this for 2 years yet! And I am ordering a 5850 whenever they come in!!
