i would recommend a ocz 700watt psu ....you want stable power and not an underpowered psu with poor capacitors
well ive got an axillary 325 watt power supply, which will run my peltier block, pump, and all case fans. this will just run the mobo, 1 hd, 1 dvd drive and the 8800 gtx

It will run the card, but Xion PSU's have a bad reputation for failing quite soon, I would invest in a better one.

OCZ 700 GameXStream would NOT be a good buy in my opinion. Very high ripple on the rails which will slowly cause your components to die. I would go with an FSP brand PSU. Sturdy, reliable, powerful, and very cost effective.

my UPS says I only use 459 watts utilizing 2 8800gts' 320mb, 22in LCD, modem, and network hub. That is being loaded down during 3dmark06. 365-370watts during orthos w/ 3.5ghz c2d, and 363-380 watts playing Top Spin 2.
well for now this is what i got the xion. up to now it has done well with my 7900 gt, e6600 oced, and water loop.
i hope it handels the gtx.
In the future ill look at fsp
