With my current setup I already have 3 XMS sticks at 1600mhz, will adding two reduce the amount of channels? Like from 3 to two or would I be alright? 10 GB of memory sounds pretty nice.

BTW new memory is 9-9-9-24 @1.65v ver 2.3 1600mhz.

Old ram has similar timings.

With a tri-channel board, you can run dual or triple channel. that would mean using 2, 3, 4, or 6 sticks. What do you use your rig for? There are very few applications that would benefit significantly from 10 GB over 6.
