okay I google it and seems alot of people are having this issue and I cant find a FIX. This is becoming extremely annoying and aggravating The only way I found out to make it go away is to go into my asus control panel and it change from headphones to speakers. However, only in Headphones mode you're able to boost your sound quality with the amp boost. This is becoming so anoying I dont know what to do.

Things I tried.
Reseated the card
I put it another PCI slot
I tried the universal driver
I tried plugging directly into my card and front panel.
SVN is set to off.

Anyone have any solutions? -___________-

Have you tried turning off the Smart Volume feature? When I first installed my Xonar DG I had a white noise issue as well that would come and go depending on what programs I had running. Turning off the Smart Volume feature (Which attempts to normalize all your programs audio to the same level) by clicking the SVN button in the program interface solved my issue.
