Im running a Pentium 4 3 Ghz processor on an Intel motherboard, 160 GB Hard drive connected thru IDE...Im trying to do a clean install of XP Home. I can boot from disk and it goes thru the whole select partition and all and copies files..Then after the first reboot it goes to the windows xp screen and the next screen after says "Setup is restarting". My monitor shows invalid format on screen, although the computer is still on. What can I do to get it to finish the install?

Yes I deleted all partitions and tried the regular format and quick format... Im using the onboard video slot, that works until it tries to load windows..I removed all extra pci cards, usb connections, etc..I only have 1 memory stick inside...
