I agree. My onboard audio wouldn't even work without updating to SP3. Check it out.

no just says "Audio Device on high definition Audio bus".

The realtek installer only supports XP SP2. When I run the setup it does not install the drivers on the computer

I can confirm it's a Creative driver issue. The cards (integrated or not) that I have in house and have the drivers updated after the SP3 appeared are working as it should. I have my Creative and my wife's lappy that show the unknown thing on HighDefinition bus(on the lappy I used a modded inf to install the integrated sound).

I love Creative even more now
That Xonar Dx looks better and better.
