Hey guys, I installed 64bit XP on my friend's machine (not in the sig), and it takes like 70 seconds to boot. It's a clean install...

Velociraptor 300GB
E6600 @ 3.5ghz
4gb Patriot PC8500elk
gtx260 core216

Please tell me how to resolve this problem. And what can I disable to make it boot faster?

So this is from power on to login screen or all the way to the desktop?

I would just double check what programs might be running in startup first.
