Hello,
I am not very knowledgeable with computers. But I have several xstar dp2710 monitors connected to computers they have always been connected to. However, I need to move some monitors around. When I went to do that I couldn't get those monitors to connect to the laptops we have. I am aware of the DVI-D cable issues and have all DVI-D cables - that being said the laptops only have HDMI so I am using a hdmi to dvi-d adapter. One laptop produces a red or green screen and the other produces just a black screen and seems to not be receiving any signal.
I have taken this issue to our IT guy and he thought we were lacking some Korean driver that we can no longer get. But I don't want to accept that there just isn't a fix and these monitors are only useful with certain CPUs.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
