Right as BBP is finishing and SFT is next, a handful of the same cores will jump to very high power draws for a second. Core 3 always hits 22W for example.
The temperature on those cores spikes accordingly. Is this typical?
I keep forgetting to check the core voltages when this happens, but I'd rather not do it too many times if something's faulty.

A recording of it happening.

Tried duplicating your behavior in Y-Cruncher v0.7.9.9510. CST / Enable All Tests.

Core Power Max ranged from 9.W to 11W for all but one core. Core 0 hit 17W for a moment between HNT finishing and VST starting up. Core 0 is the best core for my CPU.

From what I've read, core spikes (Power / Temperature) are normal for Ryzen and so long as it's momentary, they aren't harmful to the CPU. I don't know if this is right or wrong.

Maybe others can provide their input.
