YATE LOON 120mm Case Fan - High Speed - $3.70

We all know Yate Loon fans are great, but expensive, while looking for some new case fans, I found Yate Loons extremely cheap.

Heres the full list name:

The cheapest I have ever seen these are around 11-14$.

The good yates are $5 each at Petras. Yates from jabtech have been tested and proven to include smaller 80mm size motors which run louder and perform worse then the identical fan purchased from petra's. I suggest anyone looking at these spend the extra few dollars and get the good ones.

So they are claiming it was a bad batch and if you get some with the smaller 80mm motors and they click alot then you might be able to get them replaced.

They have 80mm motors? Really? How much of a difference is there. I read at most there's a 7 CFM difference.

They claimed it was a bad batch so hopefully you receive the correct yates with motors designed for 120mm fans. The problem wasnt so much the lack of CFM but that bad batch clicked and made tons of noise compared to the real ones at the same RPM.

They've been that way for a while. They were $ 3.30 a couple months ago, when I bought mine.

They are a bit loud, but so is my Slipstream, and now that I think about it, there is some clicking at start up but I never think to much of it. They move good air from that I see and my ambient, gpu, northbridge, and cpu temps all dropped a little bit after installing them. So far, I have no problems and would definitely buy them again from them.

I got 2 for around 8 dollars at xoxide.com quiet some time ago.

I picked up a bunch of medium yates from jabtech and have had no issues whatsoever with them.

Clicking noises? If I get some that click or rattle, I will want a refund on them, and goto petra, I won't be ordering these for a little while till I get some money.

The Clicking is only for the first one or two seconds after start up. It stops after that so it's not like it's all the time.

Uhh, well I hope I get a good batch, the jabtech guy is pretty nice i hear though, on this forum and others. So if I have any issues, I have read he does RMA's.

You shouldn't have any issues with them. I got three of the high speed ones from jab-tech a few months ago, and they are nice.

IMHO why bother with RMA'ing when you can just get the fans from Petra's. As the old saying goes you pay for what you get.

If I RMA or Refund, the money will go towards petras. I cannot wait for my first order from petras. They are truely the best.
