Anyway, anything higher than that, well 2530 actually boots but crashes under load, anything higher than that it just crashes at the windows logo
Dam, i guess i got a crap stepping? and cooling is ok i got a BT
So, 2500MHz ok?
OH YEA, and for all of you who didn't know my problem 3that i made many threads on about the mobo 'forgetting and underclocking' me then i found the problem
, if i overclock then reset, it appears im underclocked if i then reset again without touching bios im back to overclocked
Dont worry Sin.we seem to be in the same boat..my 3200 cant go stable above 2.6ghz no matter how many volts...btw..is your stepping the LBBWE by any chance??..if it is..then id know for sure my stepping sucks
Hey Sin i just noticed..you've got a 3200 and an x700 aswell...ok so my cpu is 100mhz faster but ive got the x700 se...half the pipelines..im going to run 3dmark 03 aswell..lets see what we get
ok overclocking CPU is ok but boy oh boy it has too much hype!
If you overclock your video card that makes a huge difference, CPU pfft, ok so when i ran 3DMARK03 when my CPU was at 2300MHz (300Mhz overclock) it was a score of 5887 and a CPU score of 972.
I ran it now (2500Mhz OC) and get 5979 with a CPU score of 993
