Volts show on cup-z around 1.47-1.48 usually but can just suddenly up to like 1.53 or as low as 1.42

Anyway, anything higher than that, well 2530 actually boots but crashes under load, anything higher than that it just crashes at the windows logo

Dam, i guess i got a crap stepping? and cooling is ok i got a BT

So, 2500MHz ok?

OH YEA, and for all of you who didn't know my problem 3that i made many threads on about the mobo 'forgetting and underclocking' me then i found the problem
, if i overclock then reset, it appears im underclocked if i then reset again without touching bios im back to overclocked
weird eh!

It must a much older stepping to not hit 2600.
Good effort though.
There may be something your missing... the CF BIOS's are a bit different too!

It's an E6 - I haven't seen many E6's not be able to 2.6Ghz. Most that can't are E3's.

yeah, that is one of the few steppings I know and I know they're pretty good oc'ers

BUT every cpu is one of a kind!

Dont worry Sin.we seem to be in the same boat..my 3200 cant go stable above 2.6ghz no matter how many volts...btw..is your stepping the LBBWE by any chance??..if it is..then id know for sure my stepping sucks

my LBBWE 3500+ is a piece of crap. 2.6 GHz stable only. 2.7 GHz stable on 1.68v, but it runs cool.

I have an LBBWE, it is a piece of crap. I haven't tried anything higher than 1.5volts, and it wont post over 2.55ghz.

Hey Sin i just noticed..you've got a 3200 and an x700 aswell...ok so my cpu is 100mhz faster but ive got the x700 se...half the pipelines..im going to run 3dmark 03 aswell..lets see what we get

yea half the pipelines so i believe haha
, ok ill run now and tell my my overall score and cpu score
, oh yea my graphics card isnt massively overclocked, only a little, i might work on that tonight too

well im just download 3dmark 03 right now..at 397kbps..ive got 2 minutes and 35 seconds left!..then onto the benching!!
ok overclocking CPU is ok but boy oh boy it has too much hype!
If you overclock your video card that makes a huge difference, CPU pfft, ok so when i ran 3DMARK03 when my CPU was at 2300MHz (300Mhz overclock) it was a score of 5887 and a CPU score of 972.

I ran it now (2500Mhz OC) and get 5979 with a CPU score of 993

E3s either are nice, or the suck.

Least, from what I've seen around on OCN. Most can do at least 2.6Ghz, and the ones that can usualy can do 2.75Ghz +.

*edit*
And your not missing much.

The 1.8Ghz -> 2.2Ghz mark is much more beneficial than the 2.2Ghz to 2.8Ghz jump.

I got a higher percent increase from 1.8 to 2.2 then 2.2 to 2.8Ghz.

thanks pook .. lol

Hey pook, what would happen if i put my HT link very high? you think it would do my machine harm?

Well i got 4362 overall score..how do i check my cpu score?
dude how did you get such a lower score?? and you click details, dont tell em you closed it? lol?!

Detals then you will find it somewhere CPU score: xxx (or xxxx hehe)
i got such a low score because of my gfx card...its only got 4 pipelines...also ...***..my cpu score is 792...and im running it at 2.55ghz right now
