Looking to order my loop, and want to run a few things by the WC guru's. I did not list a kill coil, distilled water, fittings, etc.

Here is a list of what I'm looking at
x2 XSPC RX 360 rads
x1 Swiftech 35x
x2 EK 5870 water blocks
400mm res
x1 EK Supreme HF
x1 undecided CPU water block

Now for the questions:
For my 2nd CPU block, I'm torn on spending the extra 40$ or so for a 2nd supreme HF or if I should go with the "Light" version for half the price of the supreme. It will be cooling an underclocked NAS system so won't be putting out a ton of heat . . . but will it adversly effect the overall flow of the loop?

Will a single 35x handle all of that? I asked in here once before and got a single reply - but I'm not sure if one pump is enough. It's hard justifying the expense of a 2nd pump and top, but with approaching $1k for the loop, what's another couple hundred . . .

Thoughts?

Yeah, the 35X will be fine, just get a pump top and a micro res and you should be fine. Its got a ton of head pressure. There is a guy on OCN selling 355's for $35 each. Look for him in the sales threads and get them there.

1.) For the NAS system grab the LT if you are only concerned about keeping it cooled even the RASA CPU block will do just fine. As far as flow concerns I think the LT is more restrictive than the RASA block if you want an alternative. I wouldn't spend 80$ on a EK HF for a NAS box lol.

2.) Yes the 35X will handle it just fine. I assume the NAS will be in close proxy to your main rig?

Underneath it actually. The worklog is in my sig - I'm using the Caselabs M8 for the main box, and building the NAS into the pedestal underneath.

I'll look into the rasa block then - I can't talk myself into spending the extra on an HF for the NAS either unless it kills the flow.

Thanks for the replies
