the youtube app out of nowhere gives me the "cannot connect to youtube" error. didnt update. didnt connect to computer. just stopped working last night. running 1.1.5, which according to itunes is the latest version. done hard reboot. any thoughts short of restoring?

Is there a particular reason why you don't want to restore? Sounds as though that would be the next step I'm afraid.

I know what to do! Ok, actually I kinda forgot, but it went something along the lines of setting the date to 2030 or some future date. Try Youtube again. It might or might not work - can't remember if it's supposed to. Then set the date back to normal, and bang, it should work.
