They aren't exactly Bioware's most loyal fans if they still haven't bought ME2. That game was awesome, no reason not to buy it.

Anybody else notice it's only ME2 PC that's a freebie?

This. They aren't awarding any loyal fans. They're looking to get more subbers to their DLC's and get more potential buyers for ME3. We would all agree, most fans have ME2 already.

might actually make da2 worth buying. to bad i already own me2. $10 steam sale.

But its just a marketing program. Sell more of each game, and sell the DLC, and in turn possibly sell more DA3:the milkening and ME3: The suckers just keep buying this.

EA did the same thing with BC2, selling the game for $6-$10 for several months leading up to and during the release of battlefield vietnam.

i've had me2 for a while, but never actually installed it. i have to beat the first one, but i can't bring myself to playing it because video games don't interest me any more
