Z2300 problem?

476 Views 9 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  zelix
I noticed something, but at first it did not bother me, now it does.

The left speakers are louder than the right speakers when under 20%.
I know the problem are not the speakers itself, but the sub-woofer. Maybe it is not even a problem.
I used each speaker to try the Left and Right audio output in the sub-woofer. The Left side is indeed louder than the Right when it is under 20% knob volume and max on windows media player and audio settings in Vista.
Does anyone know of this "problem"? or is it normal?

I really hope it is not my unit, because it probably will cost a lot shipping this back and is insanely heavy.

Anyone who has a Logitech z2300 aware of this problem? Just wanted to consult you guys to see if it is normal before I contact Logitech.

Nope, doesn't happen for me
Just tried

On another note, these speakers are bloody loud. With volume maxed out software side, I can only crank up these speakers to the 12 oclock position before I blow out my eardrums

Thanks guys for the reply.

REally? That's great!! Won't that be a waste for them then?

I shall contact them today and hope good stuff happens.
I think computer stuff hate me, they always fail on me. But never stops me from buying them

Make sure all of your cables are firmly in their respective sockets and inserted as far as possible. Even the slightest loose connection can cause symptons such as this.

I have not had any problems similar to this with my Z-2300s, but I have with other speakers.
