Hi everyone,

I'm new here to the OC forum and seeking some advice on BIOS settings and OC on my new build.

Here's what I have:

Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H board
Core i5 3570K 3.4 Ghz
RAM Patriot Intel Extreme Masters LE 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9 DIMMs (PVI38G160C9K)
Corsair 650W PSU
Asus HD 7770 1 GB video card
OCZ Vector SSD - 256 Gb will be installing OS on it.
WD 2TB Green HDD

I am not a GAMER, just old fart looking for speed when doing my graphic and video work. So basically thinking of running the CPU at medium overclock with the Hyper 212 air cooler.

What would be a safe OC ?
What bios settings to I use for voltage and RAM ?

If you use your rig more for video work, a 4.5Ghz is a good overclock. As for the voltages, it depends from chip to chip. Some require less voltage whereas some require more.
