Right my new cooler.... i bought this as it handles my mates 4.4ghz i7 no problems with good temps and i fell lucky and got it cheap!!! I have some MX-2 arctic cooling paste which apprently is award winning stuff! Now do i use the paste that comes with the zalman or do i use this? My mate seems to think i would be better with the paste that comes with the cooler.... But i am unsure as the thermal compound is very important to cooling performance!

Which one would you use?

MX-2 ?
Paste that comes with the cooler?

yeah i would use it but thats just me
ZM-STG2 <---that the model number of the TIM that came with the Zalman? It actually performs on par with the MX-2. If it is then I would return the MX-2 if it will save you some dough. If it is the STG1 then I would suggest the MX-2 as there is quite a difference.
