hi guys..

i'm considering a new build dedicated for downloading stuff(mostly RS,MU)...so i need to build a silent and extremely power efficient 24/7 set up.

so after googling around i found out about Zotac ion series..might be a solid candidate...but really wondering about a few things..

1-is it save to operate without fan--passive cooling with the stock heatsink.
2-the power brick--is it suitable for 24/7 set up?

1: If there's a fan on the HSF from the factory, then probably not. My suggestion would be to get a much bigger, really quiet fan and find a way to get it pointed at the board.

2: I'd assume so. If it wasn't I don't think it'd be a very good set-up.
