Howdy - I'm in the process of researching in order to figure out the next mouse I will buy. My main focus is the size of the mouse and how well it suits my grip as my hand size is uniquely small.
I am currently using a Steelseries Kinzu V2 pro and while I think this mouse was well worth the $10 I got it for, I am getting cramps (particularly on my ring finger) as it is just too big for me, unfortunately. And it's only 117mm long, so it's actually pretty small on a scale of averages.
Before this mouse I was using a Razer Salmosa pro gaming edition, which is absolutely tiny. I think it's the smallest gaming.wired mouse out there at 95mm long and quite thin and low. The main problem I have with this is the buttons. The shape of the mouse is definitely designed with fingertip grip in mind, but the finger I use to Right click has a tendency to accidentally press the right button a lot. And it also just doesn't feel very comfortable. I think I prefer a plain button style, than this moulded style and firmer switches.
So enter the Zowie Mico. It's a touch larger than the Salmosa in every direction and is similar in shape design to the Kinzu. The problem is I continuously find negative reviews about it that go into way more detail than I understand. There appears to be a bug in the sensor that can result in horizontal jumps, but then on the other hand a lot of people are dismissing this.
So what's the go? Is this defect acknowledged as a defect by the manufacturer? Does it affect ALL of their mice? Is there a chance you get one that doesn't have the bug and can you just keep returning them until you get one that isn't a lemon?
I don't know whether or not to gamble the $60 on one or just try out the Commatech M1 first...
Much appreciated. Cheers
