the Zune HD I orderd off of ebay seems to have a bad touch screen, that is completely unresponsive. I just booted it into recovery mode, and am flashing it with the latest firmware now. is there anything else I can do to fix it should this fail?

That probably won't change anything. Open a dispute.

short update: the restore failed, touch screen still does not work.

Digitializer could be broke. If it was advertised as working open a dispute, if it was advertised as broken then you'll need to get a replacement digitalizer.

update: I emailed the seller, and they are sending me a new one. for free. and they are covering all of the shipping charges.
everything is groovy as far as I'm concerned.
