Ok here is mine in all it's water cooled glory. Technically an air case, but it did very well with 8 fans and on air. I had replaced all fans with Scythe Slipstream 120mm fans and everything stayed very nice and cool. I decided to watercool it because I did not like the size of most heatsinks; it was cuttered.

Even know it has mesh everything, it does not get too dusty inside. The mesh keeps a lot of the dust out. Also the mesh allows the heat a place to escape, anywhere.

Sure I love this case it's very underrated and i love the fact that it doesn't get dusty at all! I would like more people to know it because it's just fantastic and surely one of the best upgrades I did recently. I'll post pics now.

More seriously, it's really a strange case, in a good way

I like when devs think outside the box, it really give us something interesting. The only problem I see is "How does this case handle the dusty environment ?" Other than that, cooling must be really great with it.

I am going to add a disassembled pic to the OP. Dust, if you keep it closed, you wipe dust off the air vents. If you add 2 front fan guards, it would make it almost perfect for a while. Not much dust in the side fan area after 6 months. Blew it out 1 sime with air.

The case breathes better and I have mine in the basement. Fans are aimed at each componenet and I let the hot air flow out the top.

Is the Air better? Price seems very steep, being $180. Wondering if it's truly worth it over lets say a HAF 922. Are the blue beams completely removable? If I was to get one, I would mod it to be green.

Strip it down to this and then you can paint the beams.

The case only uses intake fans so air can't settle because it's getting blown away by the intake air. At least that's what I know and since it kind of works I can't complain. The only thing dusty about my rig is my H50 rad.

Also is it possible to remove that bottom mesh?
Well I bought it for 180 euro (not dollars) and I came from a NZXT Tempest and I was impressed and yes as far as I know it is removable. I think you can even remove the beams.

Yeah, the entire case comes apart, frame included. It is very light when packed full of hardware. You have to like the design and the modular options to really appreciate the beauty though. It performs pretty well too, especially on air. I stick a 120mm fan directly on my memory and cpu and hang it from the preferations on the top. That drops temps about 7C on the CPU for me.

can only do 5 per post and didn't get to include these last 2.

I still have some work to do. I intend to sleeve all those cables that aren't already sleeved. Also missing one of my video cards, my wife's video card died so I'm letting her borrow one of mine until we can get her a new one

Hey BWG its hard to see in your pictures how you did your cable management. do you have everything tied up in the back? I stuffed most of mine under my HDD where your reservoir and pump goes
biggrin.gif
that is the pump on the bottom correct? Whats the other thing you have tubed up near the middle right in the drive bay area?

#26 ·
All of my cables are tied behind the motherboard except my front intake fans and side intake fans. I electical taped all the multi-colored wires, until I get some sleeving.

That is my pump and res combo below my Hard Drive. There is a C300 mounted behind that. The 240mm Radiator is what you see tubed in the middle of the HD bay. I used a bracket from the 3rd, unused drive slot, drilled holes through it and mounted the 240mm Radiator onto it.

Today, I am inserting a shelf above the Hard Drive, painting it black, and mounting the pump/res to it. I am also changing my loop around so my pump is not pushing water all the way to the rear 120 RAD. In fact, I am shutting down right now to drain the loop and will take pics when done.

I will take off the cover behind the motherboard to show you how I have the wires tied back.
