Hello everyone,
I'm a 21 year old guy from the netherlands and am well on my way of being a mechanical engineer (or at least that's what I tell myself)
For someone who has two right hands I have very little experience with building PC's, it more or less is none. The only 3 computers I have owned have been macs and even though I still think OS X is great the hardware comes at a price and I figured it is time for a change now.
For quite a while now I have had plans to build my own watercooled PC but the designs haven't really gotten further than the drawing board. However my 2.66Ghz C2D macbook pro sort of is letting me down a lot now performance wise and I knew it's time for a change. For my studies I need/want a PC that will run complex solidworks files, but moreover will have no problems with keyshot renderings.
But more about that later in a thread I'll make in a minute.
Hope you guys can help me out a lot here, and maybe I'll even be able to return the favor someday.
Cheers.
