The poster even has a military theme which the HAF series is all about. Guess they didn't want CM capitalizing on their military theme so much.

 

the df series looks better than haf series, it gets the aggressive look without looking too bulky and plasticy

Yep. It's a revision of the Antec 902/1200 trying to look like the HAF cases, you can't mix them up due to the size differences. HAF is much longer and wider. nitesoul, these are just as plasticy as the HAF cases but have thinner steel. Not being bulky isn't good functionally, less space for CPU coolers and side fans and less space behind the motherboard tray for cable management.

I have had not problems with coolers (v8, H50), and cable management was actually quite easy

 

The DF-85 is a good case, but much smaller than the HAF 932/HAF X. DF-85 is good if you have alot of 3.5" HDD and you aren't a fan enthusiast. One of the main values of DF-85 is that it has 7 fans out of the box, which is a great value if you don't add/replace fans on the HAF X/HAF 932.

You can see below how small the DF-85 is in comparison to the HAF X.

I still have my DF-85 but it is empty in my closet. My wife rejected it because she likes the HAF 932 better, so can I join the club?

Do you mean Corsair H70? If so I have a H50 in mine

Anyone know if the DF-35 has any sort of cable management with the newer releases? When I bought my Antec 900, according to the stock image it had no cable management holes however it came with a few.

Lol yes I ment corsair. I wish the top fans were 120mm instead of 140mm so I could mount the rad to the top exhaust of my df-85. That would be sweet.
