I have an Acer Aspire One D255E Netbook, and I was wondering if I can put more, faster, ram in it, and replace the hard drive with an SSD?

If so, could you recommend certain parts?

I have the same netbook and used Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 Model 991559, that I got on sale at newegg. Replacing the ram requires removing the keyboard to remove screws to allow access to the bottom panel, bit of a pain but only takes a few minutes and there are videos on youtube if you have trouble. Haven't replaced the harddrive yet so can't comment on that.

The faster RAM won't do anything because the processor (Intel Atom) will bottleneck it and you won't see a difference. The SSD will be bottlenecked by both RAM and processor. Don't waste your money.
